Bass Reeves was a legendary figure in American history, and one of the first Black deputy U.S. marshals west of the Mississippi River. Born into slavery in 1838, he eventually escaped during the Civil War and lived among Native American tribes in what is now Oklahoma. Later, he became a deputy marshal in the Indian Territory (modern-day Oklahoma), working under Judge Isaac Parker, known as the "Hanging Judge."

Reeves is credited with arresting over 3,000 felons during his career, often using clever disguises and expert tracking skills. He was known for his toughness, sharp wit, and integrity—he even arrested his own son for murder to uphold the law.

Many people believe he may have been the real-life inspiration for the Lone Ranger, though that theory is debated. You decide whether or not you want to purchase shirt. In my opinion the only reason it is debated is because they don't want to give credit to a Black man for being the inspiration for the Masked Man.

Print Area: Front Chest
Available in Ash, Soft Cream

This classic unisex jersey short sleeve tee fits like a well-loved favorite. Crafted from soft, breathable fabric, it's as close to nature as clothing gets—ideal for those who value comfort and self-expression. These t-shirts have-ribbed knit collars to bolster shaping. The shoulders are tapered for a better fit over time. Dual side seams hold the garment's shape for longer.

  • Due to the many variations in computer monitors and browsers, the actual color of the shirt may have dramatic or subtle variations from the shirt you see online.
  • Care Instructions:
